SEASON 4 · RULE NOTES REVIEWED 2026-09-11
Understand collection XP, the final extraction, and Crown / Klombo’s different in-match leveling rules. Keep Owned and Mastered separate in your tracker.
Extracting a duplicate adds Sprite XP to the copy in your collection. Once that copy is at maximum level, take it into a match and extract it to master it.
Source: Epic’s v42.10 update notesOwned records an entry already in your collection. Mastered records a completed in-game mastery, not an attempt or a partially filled level bar. All 61 released entries in this catalog snapshot are tracked separately. The tracker is manual and does not connect to your Epic account.
Identify the exact family and finish in your in-game collection before choosing what to work on.
Read the family-specific rule below and check your current progress in-game. Do not assume every Sprite levels through the same actions.
After the collection copy has reached maximum level, complete the extraction described in the v42.10 rule above. Confirm the in-game result before marking Mastered here.
Crown’s in-match leveling condition is winning matches, rather than ordinary XP actions.
Mastering Crown unlocks its Cheat Master variant; v42.10 fixes the earlier failure to award it.
Klombo’s in-match levels come from using consumables that restore Health or Shield.
In-match rules: v42.00. Collection XP and Crown’s unlock fix: v42.10. These are different progression contexts; this guide does not assume an exact universal level number or a fixed number of wins.
Check that you have selected the right finish, that its in-game progress is complete, and that you have completed the extraction. A different color or a partial progress bar is not enough. An accidental tracker click can be undone; it does not change the game.

Open the Sprite Tracker →Yes. Extracting a Sprite you already own adds Sprite XP to the copy in your collection. This is the duplicate extraction rule introduced in v42.10; it does not by itself mean the entry is mastered.
Yes. Once your collection copy reaches maximum level, take it into a match and extract it to complete mastery. Check the in-game result before marking the entry Mastered in your checklist.
Epic’s v42.10 notes state that mastery halves that Sprite’s resummon Sprite Dust cost and contributes to a Sprite Mastery reward track. Those in-game benefits are separate from FN Sprite Hub’s local crowns and celebration images.
