Chapter 7 Season 4 · v42.10

Fortnite Sprite Locations 2026

Find current-season Sprites with official acquisition rules and clearly scoped location hints.

Current-season location rule

Season 4 uses live loot, Cheat Code sources and special conditions. A Sprite can be easier to encounter in certain situations without having one guaranteed permanent coordinate.

What the official acquisition rule establishes

Island Cheat Codes can release a Sprite when interacted with and entered. This is a general seasonal source, not a guaranteed route to a particular family or finish.

Source: Epic’s v42.00 update notes. An island Cheat Code source does not establish a guaranteed coordinate or a particular finish. We do not publish a permanent spawn map without evidence for that claim.

A practical collection check

  1. Choose the exact family and finish you still need in the checklist.
  2. Check the source and availability shown in the current game before relying on an old location report.
  3. Confirm the finish in your collection after extraction, then update that entry in the tracker.

How to read the family hints

Terrain and time-of-day hints below are catalog guidance, not independently verified spawn coordinates or promises of a specific drop. The catalog is cross-checked against Fortnite.GG; use the linked family pages for documented exceptions. Crown’s Cheat Master unlock is covered in Epic’s v42.10 bug fixes.

Jonesy Sprite

Can be selected as a starter Sprite and is also reported around higher terrain.

Use current-season loot and Cheat Code sources; availability can change with live patches.

Adventure Sprite

Can be selected as a starter Sprite and is commonly reported around elevated terrain.

Use current-season loot and Cheat Code sources; starter availability makes it easier to begin tracking.

Bush Sprite

Can be selected as a starter Sprite.

Starter selection and current-season loot are the simplest verified ways to begin with Bush.

Sonic Sprite

Reported more often around high and mountainous regions.

Current-season loot and Cheat Code sources can provide Sonic; exact availability is patch-dependent.

Tails Sprite

Reported more often around high and mountainous regions.

Look through current-season loot and Cheat Code sources rather than relying on a single fixed spawn.

Shadow Sprite

Reported around higher terrain during the current season.

Use current-season loot and Cheat Code sources; there is no permanent fixed spawn promised by this tracker.

8-Bit Sprite

Reported around high and mountainous regions.

Use current-season loot and Cheat Code sources and verify patch notes when its acquisition changes.

Jackrabbit Sprite

Reported more often around high and mountainous regions.

Legendary rarity makes it less common; use live current-season sources instead of assuming a fixed location.

Crown Sprite

The cited patch notes do not establish a permanent spawn coordinate for this family.

Mastering Crown unlocks its Cheat Master variant; v42.10 fixes the earlier failure to award it.

Killswitch Sprite

Reported around the island at night.

Night-time reports are useful guidance, but live loot and Cheat Code sources still determine availability.

Klombo Sprite

The cited patch notes do not establish a permanent spawn coordinate for this family.

Island Cheat Codes can release a Sprite when interacted with and entered. This is a general seasonal source, not a guaranteed route to a particular family or finish.

Mega Man Sprite

Added in patch v42.10; no single permanent fixed location is asserted here.

Mega Man currently counts as a single released collectible entry in the Season 4 completion denominator.

Overshield Sprite

Reported around high and mountainous regions after its v42.10 release.

Use current-season loot and Cheat Code sources; it was added during v42.10.

X-Ray Sprite

Added in v42.10; this tracker does not claim a permanent fixed spawn.

Track Base, Gold, Cheat Master and Loot Hacker as separate released entries.

Onigiri Sprite

Added in v42.10; current acquisition should be checked against live loot and Cheat Code sources.

Track Base, Gold, Cheat Master and Loot Hacker as separate released entries.

Storm Scout Sprite

Reported around higher terrain after the v42.10 update.

Track Base, Gold, Cheat Master and Loot Hacker as separate released entries.

Finding Sprite questions

Do Sprites have guaranteed permanent spawn locations?

The sources used here do not establish a permanent coordinate for every Sprite family or finish. Treat the hints above as starting points and check current in-game availability rather than assuming an old map guarantees your missing variant.

Can island Cheat Codes give me a Sprite?

Yes. Epic’s Season 4 notes describe interacting with Cheat Codes hidden around the island and entering them to release a Sprite. That general rule does not guarantee a particular family or finish. Confirm what you collected before updating the matching checklist entry.
